The level design pleasantly surprised me; it’s fair, has many of subareas, and, as far as I can tell, doesn’t suffer from unjust falls that cause players to lose a ton of progress, as some other clones might. The worst kind of terrain the game offers at first—rock and branches—where you can slide down based on your momentum—makes fundamental climbing extremely difficult to grasp and, at times, feels arbitrary and unpleasant.
