Naturally, it’s also a meme. However, I was concerned that this game would only be a “tee hee animation bad” game, and that it would only be a 20-year joke. I didn’t think it would truly catch on as it did with the CD-I Zelda games. After winning this game, I’ve come to the conclusion that Arzette shows that, with a few little adjustments, the CD-I Zeldas—at least the Faces of Evil and the Wand of Gamelon—might have been a good game.
