But be aware, the danger is lurking around the corner! It has its rough edges but it’s quite fun and I definitely see the potential for a lot of growth. However, I see some negatives for the co-op while I’ve only played solo so far so I can’t comment there. Early on you start off mining asteroids by hand, move on to grabbing them with tractor beams, and then eventually get to a point where you fly from place to place strip mining small planets of all their resources. The automation process feels great once it gets running and you have 10+ asteroid miners churning away and you get to watch all your conveyor belts fill up with materials. However there are a few spots in the tech tree that feel weird, such as obtaining the ability to hire crew.
