I have collected the Madden video games since the Sega Genesis days until 2019 . The Madden series reached its peak in 2010. The 2011 through 2013 series would freeze on every platform and after that the Madden series improved graphics but game play was no funner and had some unnecessary franchise options while yet mot allowing the player to do some of the basics that were formerly available. All that said , this game is excellent and resembles some of the older maddens that were so fun to play. Incredible amount of creation options and customization as well as user friendly. YET ANOTHER ZOMBIE SURVIVORS

Franchise mode off field options and info make this a football game lovers imagination, seem almost limitless . Who says football cant be fun without overpaid athletes and staff ? Axis ’23 to any football fan who wants control over the game instead of having the developer decide for you how you should play. I abandoned Madden because they killed franchises and modding unless players were willing to play online — which I don’t want to do. The quality here has vastly improved over the years. No, it’s not perfect, but neither was Madden after 8 years of development. Madden players cry about what EA Sports keeps doing, so…if we want an alternative we have to support its development. Axis ’23 is well worth the investment — and it’s a blast to play, too!
