Your name is Rania. This is your first night working for Cloudpunk, the semi-legal delivery company based in the sprawling city of Nivalis. You go everywhere, from the Marrow below to the spires that pierce the grey clouds high above before scraping the edge of the troposphere. No delivery job is too dangerous, and no one is faster than a Cloudpunk driver. In this story-based exploration game, you will meet a diverse range of characters including androids, AI and unscrupulous humans at every level of society. Cloudpunk offers us splendid panoramas which are constantly renewed with each district that we discover, which makes the exploration of this city particularly pleasant. And then we’re not going to lie to each other, a game where you can drive a flying car, it’s still pretty damn cool. The cyberpunk atmosphere is super polished, thanks in particular to its marked aesthetic touch, a subtle mix between 3D, pixels and assertive polygons, to which is mixed a crazy synthwave soundtrack. Finally, only a few technical issues tarnish the picture, with a poor camera when walking on foot, and the absence of a map that would have helped us to find our way between the different districts of the city.
