The game does a very poor job of teaching you how to play it. Your character controls pretty sluggishly, which further adds to the tedium, but from the small amount of the game I’ve played so far there’s some very cool moments and solving the problems the game throws you leads to some pretty great ‘a-ha!’ moments. The game is a visual and audio treat, but it’s important to know what you’re getting yourself in for before you buy. It pains me to slap a ‘do not recommend’ on this game, because I’m intending on playing this through to the end, and I am really enjoying it so far, I just don’t feel like it’s the sort of thing the average gamer would enjoy.
