Of course, not all of such games were equally good (take Gremlins 2: The New Batch from Motivetime Ltd., for example), but many of them were pretty awesome. Games like Alien for Commodore 64, Batman for the NES, Dune 2 for DOS and, of course, millions and millions of games based on Disney’s animations are still among my most favorite ones. Heck, many of such games are criminally underrated. Like Terminator 2: Judgment Day for the NES, the original Dune for DOS and Gremlins 2: The New Batch from Riedel Software, which was totally different from Motivetime’s game and was, like, open world gremlin fighting simulator in Clamp Center. And all that is… kinda sad, really.
