Three are minor characters from Prom that, thanks to developer and fanbase popularity, have been promoted to primary love interests in Camp. Two (one love interest and one character paired with a promoted minor character) are brand new characters introduced in this game. Where Prom began with players taking a quiz to determine their beginning stats and the love interest they will initially pursue, Camp gives players much more variety by having them select from a large number of different items they will have packed, which grant different amounts and even combinations of stats. Selecting your initial love interest is similar to Prom’s method, in which players are given a small selection of subjects that directly correspond to one of the main romantic options.
