However, the KB+M controls are messy (shift + tab are bound, in a Steam game) and next to nothing is explained, so I had no idea my tools/etc. were locked on the first few dishes nor really understood what I did to unlock the early dishes. In fact, for something that is supposed to be a pure sandbox, I do not know why there even is an unlock progression! While I understand the criticisms of it not being open enough within the levels, if that was the only issue I would not care. The levels themselves are fun. However, the issue is that the game tells you to just to hit buttons and do whatever and does not always reward you for it. Instead, there is something specific that unlocks the next level or the next mechanic, and you are expected to stumble upon it, be it a beat or a button.
