Rise of Liberty is a first person single player massive strategy / battle simulation game that takes place during the revolutionary war, you can fire cannons, command a huge army or take part in massive battles! The guy who made this game was a member of my total war clan, and I must say, I didnt believe his idea would be that good, but after playing it a bit, I see a game with strong potential. Keep your eye on this ones work. The game is very fluid and taking into account he made this game by himself, its pretty good.

Rise of Liberty Free Steam Pre-Installed:

The reload time on the guns isnt as bad as I thought it would be. There is also a cool spectator mode and its fun to watch the battles just play out. From watching this, I got the impression that this would actually make a good foundation for a really kick ass RTS game. The only downsides to this game, is it is not complete yet, but it has the potential in its current state as of this review definitely. if skirmishing is more your thing, then grab a good rifle with long range (this is unlocked with enough kills) and camp on a hill. There is a wide variety of weapons to choose from, from the classic musket and pistol to an axe strapped to a pistol, sword or lantern.
