As the player, must traverse the treacherous mine, record your inquiry with a camera, overcome obstacles, and stay safe from the horrors that lie ahead. It’s much more of a walking sim than most these days, with plenty of opportunities to get lost in the maze-like, dark corridors and tunnels as well as a few easy puzzles to solve along the way. Naturally, the absence of light creates tension and mental tricks as you wait for the next jump fright to appear around the corner. There are several of these, with differing degrees of success, but there are also some very nice eerie moments that really stood out to me and contributed to the local lore, which is mostly based on newspaper cuttings that are strewn all over the place.
