Build a formidable army, discover powerful relics, and buy surprising gadgets to defeat the Covenant. However do note that the full version of the game adds nothing (noticeable) when compared to the demo. I paid the $9 expecting more content than what the demo provided but it appears to be the same exact game with a few visual changes. Pretty disappointing as I already managed to get a decent bit of playtime through the demo version. I submitted a refund for the game, however if more content is released in the future I think I would buy it again. STUFFO THE PUZZLE BOT

There’s some thing very appealing about the concept, but the game doesn’t feel quite finished, and with the basic premise being quite simple, well… It’s a bit lacking in its offering when it comes to staying power. It’s certainly not an evergreen like your Dead Cells or your Slay the Spire. A chess roguelike has huge potential, and this game could be a decent foundation, but this looks more like a proof of concept than a full game. Every move reduces your gold rewards. If you get pieces with low mating potential, coupled with annoying matchups where you’ll surely win, but you’ll have to dance around meaningsless checks thrown at you, that can screw you over quite a bit.
