Day & Night Cycle Look for relics and vendors that only spawn at night. Weather Events Be prepared! Unique Characters Characters with unique customizable passives. Wait until its been fleshed out a bit. Many abilities don’t work properly, weapons stop working based on your growth. It’s fun, but it’s a short bug filled mess at the moment. I’ll update this as EA progresses. Additionally, the EA states that there are 7 characters, but only 2 are currently playable as of this review. Played a few rounds and this one is not for me. The artstyle is great and the spell effects look nice.

Scarlet Tower Free Steam Pre-Installed:

The combat is flashy and the explosions from leveling up are exciting. But that’s really it. If you’ve played games like this before, there’s not much new here as of yet. My main complaints is the game is just too difficult and the power creep is really unbalanced (VERY slow). Your character walk speed is awful and the dash can be a hindrance often (for me atleast). Entertaining and addictive! Even in this very early evolution, there’s a lot to progress through. It’s difficult, yet, rewarding. Sure, there are some kinks to iron out… but the dev team is very responsive and have been pumping out quality updates.
